Goddess who has Queen's 'royal' seal approval

The following article by Baz Bamigboyle appears in The Daily Mail today…
Queen guitarist-Brian May hails singer Kerry Ellis as 'some kind of goddess'.
Such terms are bandied about to such an extent in showbusiness that their worth is diminished. But I see where May's coming from with Kerry.
She once told me she doesn't 'do diva - I just get on with it and get it done'. So let's call her the goddess of getting it done.
Goddess of sequins: Kerry Ellis gets Brian May's approval.
This quiet, calm singer has a voice that raises the roof of whatever theatre she performs in, but she does not belt. Instead, she's able to mould her soprano into a rock vibe that gives a lift to whatever song comes her way, whether it's Defying Gravity from the musical Wicked, I Can't Be Your Friend by May and Don Black, or Black's freshly buffed Diamonds Are Forever - all of which can be found on Kerry's first full album, Anthems, out on Monday.
May discovered Kerry when she played the role of Meat in the musical We Will Rock You (based on the music of Queen), and he has worked with her on several projects.
In fact, they're performing in tomorrow's Prom In The Park in Hyde Park with Dame Kiri Te Kanawa, Jose Carreras and Neil Sedaka.
Kerry also finds the time to play Nancy in Olivier! at the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane.
She's no manufactured wannabe from some reality TV show she has worked her way to success the hard way.
I've been observing her for years in stage show after stage show and my sense is that Kerry Ellis is already on the road that real artists take.
