Kerry Ellis - album update

Brian May has posted a message on his Soapbox page with an update on Kerry's new album:
I'm working very hard with Kerry now on finishing the album before she goes into rehearsals for Oliver. We have an amazing impetus now because her record deal is finally in place - very exciting. But of course it now becomes a serious matter to bring every track up to the highest standard, and to a tight schedule. Right now we both feel we have cracked it … found the specific style we were looking for … a development of how we began on the "Wicked in Rock" CD. I think it's the best thing I've done, production-wise, for a very long time. Ah yes … the "Defying Gravity" vid on Youtube was recorded in my studio. Kerry has long been an outstanding talent, but she's now developed into a very skilful artist in her own right - she's in a class of her own among female singers in this country.

Hi everyone. Just a little update… as you know I'm working very hard on finishing my album with the lovely Brian May, which WILL be released later this year. It's going to be a real treat - we have lots of surprises for you to enjoy. I am loving every second in the studio and have learnt so much. Watch this space…
